All-Star Excitement

Six days separate the other two interns and I from our arrival in Kansas City for the All-Star Fan Fest. The past few days in the MLBPAA Headquarters have involved preparation and planning for the craziness that is about to begin in just under a week. Nicki Keller and I completed packing the membership folders that will be given to our new members upon their purchase of a Fan Membership at Fan Fest. In addition to creating the folders, we all received our schedules for when we will be working the MLBPAA booth. There will be some long days during the time we are there, but I am ready for the challenge and excited to bring some new members into the Alumni Association. I still have some work to do between now and then such as polishing up on my sales skills and getting ready to talk to all different types of people with the hopes of selling as many memberships as I can. After some research, I am also very excited to experience what Kansas City has to offer. The All-Star game is going to add an additional buzz to the KC culture so it will be very fun to be apart of that overall experience. For now, the countdown has officially begun…6 days and counting!
